FAQ

Q1: What if I signed up for FOC/FOW and didn't get the confirmation e-mail?

Ans: Double check with us via emailing us your issue with your full name & IC number at tpsu@student.tp.edu.sg


Q2: What if I am unable to make it for FOC/FOW and got a confirmation letter?


Ans: Just sent us an email informing us that you would not be attending the camp with your full name & IC number to tpsu@student.tp.edu.sg

Q3: What If I did not receive any indemnity form through the confirmation email?


Ans: Inform us by sending an e-mail to tpsu@student.tp.edu.sg and we will resend you the indemnity form

Q4: What If I forget to sign my indemnity form?


Ans: We will not be able to allow you into the camp as it is a strict Temasek Polytechnic rule.

Q5: What If I did not get the chance to sign up for FOC/W & really want to go for FOC/W? Is there any way to get in?


Ans: Yes there is still a slim chance. You can e-mail us at tpsu.student.tp.edu.sg  your Full name / Admin No. / NRIC / E-mail / HP and we will put you in the waiting list. In event that your appeal is successful and there is slots, we will slot your name into and you will receive a confirmation e-mail.

Q6: What attire should I come dress in for FO?


Ans: It is highly recommended to come in sports attire as the daily activities would involve a lot of movement.

Q7: What meals are provided?


Ans: 
Freshman Orientation Camp (Stay-over):
Do eat your lunch before coming to camp :D!
Day 1 – Dinner, Supper
Day 2 – Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Supper
Day 3 – Breakfast, Lunch

Freshman Orientation Workshop (Day Camp):
Do eat your lunch before the camp starts for the first day.
Do eat your breakfast before coming to each day of the camp

10 April – Lunch
11 April – Lunch

Update on Freshman Orientation Camp!
Hello Freshmens!


After filtering the duplicates from the Freshmen Orientation Camp list, we have additional space for Freshman Orientation Camp (Residential) where you can sign up! For those that did not get a chance to sign up this is your chance! 


Option 1   : 3-Day 2-Night Residential Camp* (i.e. overnight at TP)
12 – 14 April 2012


(*Note: There are only 500 vacancies available for each Camp.  Registration is on first-come-first-served basis.)


*IMPORTANT NOTE: The link to the sign up sheet is found on your Orientation Package that is mailed to you when you got accepted into TP.

Do note that for individuals which signed up for the camp, you will be receiving a confirmation e-mail by the end of next week so do not worry about signing up again.

Hi Freshmens , heres some information on the details for the camp . 
To familiarise yourself with the new environment and to make new friends, you are strongly encouraged toparticipate in the following Orientations:
Temasek Polytechnic Students’ Union (TPSU) Freshmen Orientation
Temasek Polytechnic Students’ Union (TPSU) welcomes you to our one big TP family!

As an enrolled full-time student in TP, you are automatically a member of TPSU. TPSU takes care of your welfare, and ensures that your time in TP will be memorable, full of excitement and FUN!

TPSU is organizing a combined orientation involving freshmen in TP! Our annual Freshmen Orientation Camp (FOC) is FREE. You will be able to meet new friends, experience the vibrant lifestyle, realize the TP spirit and be part of it. As freshmen, you may choose to attend:

Option 1     : 3-Day Non-Residential Camp
  9 - 11 April 2012

Option 2     : 3-Day 2-Night Residential Camp* (i.e. overnight at TP)
 12 – 14 April 2012

SOCCER FINALS
TEAM TEMASEK Soccer Team has reached the finals of the prestigious SR NATHAN Soccer Tournament, also known as IVP Soccer, by beating ITE 1-0 yesterday. 

TP is the defending champions having beaten ITE 2-1 last year as wekk. TP will now meet Republic Polytechnic in the finals this Friday (10 Feb) at Nanyang Poly with the kickoff at 6pm. Please inform all your members to send representatives down to show your support for your fellow TEAM TEMASEK students.

Transport has been provided to and from NYP and the bus will be leaving at 4.15pm from School of Engineering Block 11.

We hope that each club will send at least 10 students to support TP in this big event as we need all your support.

Date of Finals:           10 Feb, Friday
Venue                           Nanyang Polytechnic
Time                              6pm (Kick-off)
Bus leaving TP            4.15pm
Attire                            Team Temasek T-shirt, Club T-shirt or red top

If you are still having lessons, you can still make your own way there as the match only starts at 6pm. For those who have no appointments, do come down to support our TP Soccer Team!

TICKET SALES HAVE FINALLY ARRIVED


  1. Downpayment by the entire group (10 for the full table) or individuals will be $25 per person which adds up to $250 will be needed to confirm a table for the night.
  2. Having priority and better tables (nearer to the stage)* will be the result of the full payment of $500 as a table of 10 or individuals paying $50. Therefore the faster the full payment, the better tables you will receive. *up to the discretion of the committee
  3. There will NOT be any reservations or choosing of tables.
  4. A group of 10 will form a table. You will be given a table when the whole group pays in full amount.
  5. For individuals or groups that are lesser than 10, it will be up to the discretion of the organising committee to give you a table that might consist of other people.
  6. Booth will be available on 16 January, outside library (plaza).
  7. If you wish to make purchase of a table, please contact Gene Lee @ 8571 2114 or Glenda Oh @ 9836 7342.
  8. Should you have any queries about the booking, please feel free to contact either Gene or Glenda.
